The alumni who participated in this study agreed that their day-to-day, educational, social and cultural experiences at Anatolia College had a very positive impact on their professional and personal journeys. This is clearly reflected in their own words, taken from their interviews: “βγαίνεις ολοκληρωμένος άνθρωπος” (you come out a complete human being), “έκανα οικογένεια, αφοσιώθηκα” (I started a family, I became committed to them), “το σχολείο μας άνοιγε τους ορίζοντες” (the school broadened our horizons), “πήραμε γερές βάσεις” (we got solid foundations). Independently from the differences in the paths they followed, moving on to study in the US, prioritizing a career or starting a family, the interviewees all carried the lasting mark of Anatolia College, whose nature is summarized in an alumna’s words: “it influenced me to want to study more, to accept other cultures, to be a good citizen in every country I live.”
